Bronze Medal Mudgee 2009
This wine is a blend of fruit from the high altitude Regions of Mudgee and Central Ranges of NSW. The bouquet shows typical characters of lime and lemon-drop aromas with passionfruit overtones. Fermentation esters contribute to the overall appeal of the aromas. The long palate is dominated by flavours of fresh ripe lychees and tropical fruit, culminating in a crisp, clean acid finish.

** 2009 Viognier       NEW RELEASE                $22.00
Silver Medal Mudgee 2009
Look for a delightful fragrance of rose petals and figs, with just a hint of oak in the background. The fruit was grown at an elevation of 580 metres so shows some mineral overtones. The palate is full of exotic and spicy fruit, and has a slightly viscous texture normally associated with the variety. This wine is distinctly integrated with a combination of sweet fruit and oak and a persistent acid finish.

** 2007 “Laura” Chardonnay              $19.50
The “Laura Block” has again delivered its unique flavour characteristics of white peaches supported by ruby grapefruit nuances. The nose shows classic Chardonnay fruit, supported by aromas of vanilla and spice derived from the time spent in small barrels, being a combination of American and French oak. A sweet, rich fruit flavour enhances the appeal of the wine upfront, and the natural acidity ensures a clean long finish.

Bronze Medal Mudgee 2008
This wine is 100% Merlot fruit grown in Mudgee. Very light contact with the red skins has produced this typical, bright pink and eye-catching colour. Red cherries spring to mind, both, with the fragrance, and the elegant and fresh dry finish.

*2007 Merlot Cabernet

The colour is reminiscent of dark blood-red plumbs with a vibrancy derived from the high altitude cool climate Merlot component. The aroma shows hints of mulberry and black currant fruits with a supporting element of French oak. This structure carries through to a palate of spicy fruit characters marrying well into a background layer of oak, leaving a clear fruit expression on a long persistent palate. Enjoy this wine now if you like lively, vibrant fruit or drink through to 2014 to appreciate the developing complexity.

**2007 “Timothy” Premium Shiraz          $25.00
Our Shiraz demonstrates how good vineyard management can yield wines that exude flavour and quality through careful fruit selection and attention to detail. Layered upon this cornerstone, has been the traditional winemaking techniques of fermentation in open fermenters and basket pressing followed by 12 months maturation in French oak barrels. This has yielded a wine showing spice and dark berry fruits with an elegance of structure that auger well for its longevity. Enjoy this wine now if you like lively, vibrant fruit, or drink through to 2016.

Hand picked and hand sorted Botrytis fruit from Mudgee, 2008 was an excellent year for this style with spring rain and high humidity. Aromas of honey, grapefruit and marmalade, backed by the citrus stamp of Semillon. Although the finish is sweet, the balance is of a lighter style.
