2010 Sauvignon Blanc NEW
RELEASE! $25.00
High altitude vineyards in the Mudgee and Orange regions were
selected for this wine. A 50/50 blend has produced a wine
showing the best attributes that Sauvignon Blanc can produce.
A bouquet showing passionfruit and cut grass aromas makes
this wine very seductive. The palate is tight and lean with
a hint of minerality in structure and bursting with lychee
and gooseberry characters.
** 2009 Viognier
$22.00
Silver
Medal Mudgee 2009
Look for a delightful fragrance of rose petals and figs, with
just a hint of oak in the background. The fruit was grown
at an elevation of 580 metres so shows some mineral overtones.
The palate is full of exotic and spicy fruit, and has a slightly
viscous texture normally associated with the variety. This
wine is distinctly integrated with a combination of sweet
fruit and oak and a persistent acid finish.

** 2007 “Laura”
Chardonnay
$19.50
The “Laura Block” has again delivered its unique
flavour characteristics of white peaches supported by ruby
grapefruit nuances. The nose shows classic Chardonnay fruit,
supported by aromas of vanilla and spice derived from the
time spent in small barrels, being a combination of American
and French oak. A sweet, rich fruit flavour enhances the appeal
of the wine upfront, and the natural acidity ensures a clean
long finish.

Bronze
Medal Mudgee 2008
This wine is 100% Merlot fruit grown in Mudgee. Very light
contact with the red skins has produced this typical, bright
pink and eye-catching colour. Red cherries spring to mind,
both, with the fragrance, and the elegant and fresh dry finish.

*2007 Merlot Cabernet $22.00
The colour is reminiscent of dark blood-red plumbs with a
vibrancy derived from the high altitude cool climate Merlot
component. The aroma shows hints of mulberry and black currant
fruits with a supporting element of French oak. This structure
carries through to a palate of spicy fruit characters marrying
well into a background layer of oak, leaving a clear fruit
expression on a long persistent palate. Enjoy this wine now
if you like lively, vibrant fruit or drink through to 2014
to appreciate the developing complexity.

**2007 “Timothy”
Premium Shiraz $25.00
Our Shiraz demonstrates how good vineyard management can yield
wines that exude flavour and quality through careful fruit
selection and attention to detail. Layered upon this cornerstone,
has been the traditional winemaking techniques of fermentation
in open fermenters and basket pressing followed by 12 months
maturation in French oak barrels. This has yielded a wine
showing spice and dark berry fruits with an elegance of structure
that auger well for its longevity. Enjoy this wine now if
you like lively, vibrant fruit, or drink through to 2016.
